yeap! this is the slogan for 30-Hour Famine 2010.

i have took part in the 30-Hour Famine DIY camp as a helper.

a great experience :) although not helping much.

if you dunno what the 30-hour Famine is. nahh..

30-hour famine is a world vision event of voluntary fasting to raise money and awareness about world hunger.

the first time for not consuming food for 30 hours! in other words, fasting for 30 hours!!

is 30 hours! i couldn't believe that i actually can make it with my bunch of friends!

WE DID IT!

it was a really great experience.

it is not an easy task to make it through the day on an empty stomach.

thanks to my ex-housemate for inviting me to join such an meaningful event :)

eating and bath are not allowed in the camp. sleep on the cardboard. no electricity and etc etc we seldom or never did in our daily life.

1st time been thru all these.

we should feel appreciating in everything we have now as we are actually damn lucky than those poor kids which do not have normal lifestyle like us.

they do not have comfortable bed like us. they do not have stable meal like us. and they cant get what they desire or wish like us.

btw, the one thing i most admire is their spirit. :)

no matter how tough their life is, they still continue their life without blaming anyone. that's not as easy as u think unless u have gone thru.

the event was a week ago actually.

currently suffering a-serious-but-not-so-serious-itchy skin allergic after the camp.

have been consulted doctor in hospital kampar,

needle injected. calamine applied. medicine consumed. but still the same!

and yesterday was my 2nd time for consulting doctor for my skin.

hopefully it can recover soon :) i really wish.

so called "group-members-trip"

hmm..

seriously i dunno how to start this blog. since it's one week ago. I have to recall back from the photos taken.

so i just briefly talk about story of the day.

it was friday. they reached TI around 11sth. previously they have already informed me about they wanted to come to visit my hometown. and i just take it as a joke. LOL.

so, they didnt took their breakfast as they wanna try TI nice food. however, i disappointed them. cuz i dunno where to find TI nice food for them. mempersiasuikan telukintaner. LOL. end up i brought them to the nearby foodstall. 

next. since the foodstall is located nearby my new house hence incidentally i brought them to visit my so called "in-the-progressing" new house.

bought movie tickets next.

due to 1 hour time left for the movie, take them to nearest The Store A.K.A laoyah shopping mall to waste our time.

and this the movie we watched. Sorcerer's Apprentice.

It's a story about Balthazar Blake is a sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan fighting against the forces of evil, in particular his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath, while searching for the person who will inherit Merlin's powers. This turns out to be Dave Stutler, a physics student at New York University, whom Balthazar takes as a reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling apprentice a crash course in the art and science of magic and sorcery, in order to stop Horvath and Morgana le Fay from destroying the world

the movie is great! funny as well. and i started to love this song -> "SECRETS" by OneRepublic ♥

finished the movie around 5pm and the weather is just nice. take them to another place.

Leaning tower, one of my hometown attractions. The tower was originally used as a water tower supplying the area of the town. It had a clock at the top, which rings every 15 minutes. Currently it is a local tourist attraction, and no longer stores water.

craving for this for so long time ago! 3rd time for this :)

rm19.90 per adult. eat as much as you can finish it. charged extra for the waste.

the restaurant named as Poh Long Banquet Hall- Steamboat buffet (宝隆酒家). more than 95 types of food for instance steamboat ingredient, appetizer, snack, hotdish, dessert and beverages.

it sounds tasty and it definitely mean it in fact. :D

they leave around 11pm after buying the ccf for their supper. while, i still got activity next. my very 1st time for not staying at home for so long almost from morning until midnight. due to my ffk-ness, i promised my fren to accompany him to watch another movie. The last Air-bender.

ishh. one word to this movie - BORED!

my preference goes to Sorcerer Apprentice if compare to The Last Airbender.

it was wednesday.

1 lecture class only on wednesday. again i skip it for the lecture class. dont ask me why skip it. you should ask why do the lecturer's voice so nice to push us to sleep. LOL

10am class on the morning. not too early but i just don't feel like attending it.

rather to spend my time on my warmish bed.
it's always our self-declared holiday :P

Friday, end of week9.
cant wait to back home!

i didn't sleep for the previous night. due to conversation with someone until almost 7am early in the morning. before was bday celebration. straight away washed up myself and decided to walk to uni since the weather was damn pretty nice. 8am class. pancing ikan all the way in lecture class. *slap myself*

daddy reached around 3pm to pick me. they were on their way to Ipoh for my granny's hearing aid. spent quite long of time there @.@ sleepy much.

stop crapping kay.

lol.

officially announced i am back to my home sweet home. the comfortable place i ever had.
done all the midterms and 1 more assignment left to submit. FYP as well.

My pillows, my bed, my bolster, my room, my everything..
i miss you all terribly.

nth much to do in home. but time with them is just very precious <3
